SUMMARY:Fostering Student Engagement with Liberating Structures (Part 1)
DESCRIPTION:Discover the practical impact of Liberating Structures on student engagement. Liberating Structures are a collection of simple\, adaptable teaching methods (33+ and growing) that make it easier to spark participation\, deepen reflection\, and generate ideas—without adding a lot of extra prep.\n \nAcross two interactive virtual sessions (you can attend one or both)\, you’ll experience Liberating Structures you can use right away in online or in-person classes. You’ll participate in activities which invite more voices into the room while discussing real teaching challenges such as AI in education and assessment practices. She is the author of Design to Engage (2020) and the upcoming Everyday Acts of Facilitation (expected April 2026)\, and she hosts the Facilitating on Purpose podcast. The Collaborative Conflict Resolution program provides practical\, evidence-based skills in negotiation\, mediation and conflict coaching through a 20 credit certificate designed for professionals to learn the theory and skills for managing interpersonal disputes constructively. It emphasizes self-awareness\, emotional intelligence and structured\, collaborative dialogues to build healthy and effective relationships.
