SUMMARY:Opening and Rethinking Learning Design
DESCRIPTION:Last year\, several members of JIBC’s Centre for Teaching\, Learning and Innovation (CTLI) participated in large collaborative project to create an open resource on the subject of instructional design. The resource\, known as Rethink Learning Design\, explores open and critical approaches to learning and instructional design. As part of Open Education Week\, we would like to introduce the JIBC community to this resource and to talk as a group of educators about our different roles as learning designers. One of the editors\, Irwin Devries\, will talk to us about the project and how readers can engage with it. As well\, we will hear from some of the CTLI-based authors who will discuss their chapters and the importance of this project on our work at JIBC. \nIf you are interested please sign up and we will send you more details along with a link to participate online.
