22 Jan Peer Observation of Teaching – Faculty Development Workshop
In post-secondary institutions, the thought of having a colleague observe and provide feedback on one’s teaching often conjures up dread, stress, or panic â€â€and sometimes even cynicism. But, peer review of teaching, when done well, has the potential to promote genuine professional growth for instructors.
In this session, we will explore what is meant by peer observation of teaching, examine two main models for peer review, and identify personal and institutional benefits for engaging in this practice.
Come and join us for this great open discussion.
