AUTHORING TOOL(S) USED

Rise

WHY WAS THIS PROJECT NEEDED?

Currently, JIBC doesn’t have an institution-wide resource for Faculty onboarding. Each program area offers their own training and support.

HOW DOES THIS DEMONSTRATE INNOVATION?

This is an institution wide resource that can be used on its own or in combination with program areas’ onboarding trainings and resources. The interactive nature of Rise also makes it easy to use and search.

PROBLEMS OR CHALLENGES FACED?

The main challenge was to get all the program areas and services involved.

LESSONS LEARNED

It is important to get all the areas involved at an early stage and listen to their suggestions, ask for reviews and feedback.
