WIL Student Panel

Join us online to hear from JIBC students about their experience participating in Work Integrated Learning. Students will recap their experiences, challenges and impact of time in a WIL course. This will be a moderated discussion with time for questions.

 

 

Who Should Attend: This training is ideal for program managers, faculty, staff, and those who are interested in seeing how to integrate work integrated learning into your program/courses.

About Our Panel:

 
Sue Dorey, MSW, RSW, is currently working to complete a certificate in Collaborative Conflict Resolution with Justice Institute of BC. The Collaborative Conflict Resolution program provides practical, evidence-based skills in negotiation, mediation and conflict coaching through a 20 credit certificate designed for professionals to learn the theory and skills for managing interpersonal disputes constructively. It emphasizes self-awareness, emotional intelligence and structured, collaborative dialogues to build healthy and effective relationships. As part of the certificate completion Sue completed a WIL placement with Mediate BC a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the public with accessible, inclusive and ethical conflict resolution services throughout British Columbia.
