Blackboard Learn Ultra: Build Your Course

Overview:

Join this interactive online workshop to learn how to build and organize your Blackboard Learn Ultra course content in a clear, engaging way.

This one-hour session focuses on the essential skills needed to structure your course and create learning activities in Ultra. Participants will work directly in a sandbox course while the facilitator provides short demonstrations followed by guided, step-by-step activities.

Using this hands-on approach, you will gain practical experience creating course materials and setting up common teaching tools used in Ultra courses.

Session Breakdown (60 mins):

By the end of the session, you will be able to:
 

• Copy course content from an existing course shell
• Create course materials such as documents and folders
• Upload files to your course content area
• Create and set up assignments
• Create and participate in discussion activities

Who Should Attend:

This training is ideal for faculty and staff who are beginning to build their courses in Blackboard Learn Ultra. Participants should have a basic familiarity with the Ultra interface. If you are brand new to Ultra, we recommend attending Intro to Your Ultra Course before joining this session. Participants will receive access to a Blackboard Ultra sandbox course after registering.
