Peer Feedback – A “how not to” lesson

Twitter
LinkedIn

Peer feedback is a great way for students to learn from each other — both through the process of giving feedback and also from the feedback they receive. The final papers I receive from students who have participated in peer feedback are much higher quality and the students report that the experience was very positive for them. The problem is that the Blackboard tool for peer feedback doesn’t do what I want it to do so this is a very time consuming and labour intensive project for me. I’ll take you through what didn’t work with the hope that at the end of this session — we will be talking about what did work!
