JIBC is Hosting a Special Event

Join us for a special FREE session presented by Dr. Tony Bates on challenges that post secondary institutions are facing post pandemic.

“What will be the future of teaching and learning at JIBC post-pandemic?”
Abstract: Covid-19 has forced many changes on the education and training system, some of which will not be reversed. Post-secondary institutions in North America were already moving towards blended learning before the pandemic struck. However, the move to blended learning raises many questions: what are the most appropriate models for combining face-to-face and online learning? What should be the balance in terms of time? What does the research tell us about what is most effective? To what extent can digital technology replace hands-on training?  This webinar will explore these and other issues regarding the future of teaching and learning, with examples illustrating possible future directions.

Deadline for the registration is Friday December 4th.
