OFFICE OF INDIGENIZATION
CALLS FOR JUSTICE
The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA Peoples concluded its investigative process in June 2019 with the release of several reports grounded in evidence and law, including its Calls for Justice. JIBC’s mandate is reflected across many of the affirmative actions needed to effect change. A common entry point for all JI employees is call 11.1 Calls for Educators. We encourage you to reflect on this call and answer the question, how do you currently contribute to advancing education that redresses historical and persisting violence against Indigenous Peoples?

Email indigenization@jibc.ca if you want to dialogue about your response and discuss ways you can answer this call for justice.
